Senior Business Operations | Process Design | Compliance & Risk | CRM & Automation

I build order where complexity has grown faster than the systems supporting it.

I’m a business operations leader, entrepreneur, process builder and problem solver with more than 20 years of experience creating the systems, people practices, workflows and safeguards that help organizations scale with consistency.

Builder first. Processes, teams, systems and controls designed to work in the real world.
Selected Impact

Operations that create consistency, accountability and room to grow.

I’ve worked in large corporate environments, small businesses, regulated industries and entrepreneurial settings — often where there was no ready-made playbook.

Problems I’m Good at Solving

When the business has outgrown the way the work gets done.

I’m most useful when the organization has capable people and real opportunity — but the systems, ownership, controls or workflows have not kept up.

01

Unclear ownership

Defining roles, responsibilities and handoffs so work stops duplicating and important tasks stop falling between people.

02

Inconsistent execution

Creating repeatable processes, forms, SOPs and quality controls without pretending every situation is identical.

03

Operational risk

Recognizing exposure, escalating appropriately and turning legal or compliance guidance into usable operational controls.

04

Scaling without structure

Building onboarding, training, staffing, workflow and accountability systems that can handle greater volume without sacrificing service.

05

Manual work that should repeat

Using CRM tools, templates, automation and standardized communication to remove avoidable rework.

06

People in the wrong seats

Using observation, performance review and skills/personality assessments to align people with work that fits their strengths.

Selected Case Studies

Real examples of building, scaling and protecting operations.

These examples show how I approach business problems: understand the failure point, create structure, make the process usable, and leave the organization stronger than I found it.

Case Study 01
Scaling a variable service business without losing consistency
Challenge

Real-estate transactions are highly variable, yet clients still expect a predictable, professional experience.

What I built

Role clarity, standardized workflows, forms, timing controls, training, QA and repeatable communication systems.

Scale

300–400 annual transaction workflows, 25–30 high-producing agents and up to 8 internal team members.

Result

A consistent service experience across varied files that supported client trust, repeat business and referrals.

Case Study 02
Building brokerage operations from the ground up
Challenge

New brokerages lacked mature SOPs, onboarding, recruiting structure, training plans, compliance controls and consistent workflows.

What I identified

Operational gaps, non-state-compliant practices, inconsistent documentation and areas of avoidable liability.

What I built

Policies, procedures, onboarding, training, compliance processes, workflow standards and attorney-informed controls.

Result

A more structured operating model with clearer expectations, repeatable processes and stronger risk management.

Case Study 03
Turning emerging liability into usable business controls
Challenge

Fast-moving market conditions created risk that standard forms and existing procedures did not fully address.

Examples

Inspection/option-period waivers, appraisal waivers, and emerging concerns around data centers, BESS facilities and energy developments.

Approach

I raised the exposure, recommended attorney review and helped translate counsel’s guidance into disclosures, disclaimers and repeatable procedures.

Result

Signed documentation and stronger controls were available to support the brokerage and agents when legal or disclosure questions later arose.

Case Study 04
Improving performance through people, incentives and process
Challenge

An insurance office was experiencing negative-to-flat monthly business performance.

Intervention

Employee training, clearer SOPs, sales incentives, role expectations and quality-control practices.

Result

Business performance improved to approximately $10K–$15K in month-over-month gains during the engagement.

What it shows

Operational improvement is not administrative housekeeping — it can directly influence business performance.

Case Study 05
Turning GoHighLevel into a repeatable client operations platform
Challenge

Real-estate professionals needed an integrated system rather than disconnected marketing and follow-up tools.

What I built

A StreamLine Marketing Pro platform using GHL for CRM, automations, forms, pipelines, calendars, landing pages, email campaigns and related workflows.

Implementation

Approximately 25 customized account builds, supported by standardized onboarding, automated emails and electronic forms.

Result

Reduced repetitive setup work, improved implementation consistency and created a more scalable client onboarding process.

Career Perspective

Built across entrepreneurship, regulated industries and hands-on operations.

My work has included operating my own companies, supporting brokerage ownership, supervising teams, consulting with small businesses, creating marketing technology systems and working inside larger corporate structures.

Current

Created a GoHighLevel-based platform for real-estate professionals integrating CRM, automation, forms, pipelines, websites, email campaigns, calendars and onboarding systems; implemented approximately 25 customized client accounts.

2023–Present

Eakin Group — Brokerage Operations, Transaction & Compliance Support

Supports ownership with brokerage operations, transaction management, CRM, marketing, compliance, workflow design, issue spotting, operational risk identification and implementation of counsel-informed controls.

2020–2023

Edie West Realty Group — Business Manager & Delegated Supervisor

2001–2004

Small Business Consulting

Advised small businesses, including insurance offices, on staffing, training, incentives, SOPs, performance systems and quality controls. In one engagement, operational and people changes contributed to approximately $10K–$15K in month-over-month business growth.

Earlier Career

Title, Insurance & Sears Brand Central

Earlier experience includes title commitments/policies, insurance pre-underwriting and client account responsibilities, plus Sears Brand Central where I supported training, scheduling oversight and day-to-day personnel leadership for approximately 15–18 employees under the department head.

Capabilities

Where I create the most value.

A combination of business ownership, operational leadership, systems thinking, people management, compliance judgment and hands-on implementation.

Business Operations & Scale

  • Operating-model design and process standardization
  • SOPs, workflows, service standards and quality controls
  • Workload, capacity and multi-client operations
  • Cross-functional execution and operational problem solving

People Leadership

  • Hiring, onboarding, training and performance review
  • W-2 and 1099 administration and payroll processes
  • Incentives, bonus programs and staff development
  • Skills/personality assessment and role-fit support

Risk, Compliance & Controls

  • Issue spotting and risk escalation
  • Regulated workflow and documentation review
  • Attorney-informed disclosure and control implementation
  • Documentation, audit readiness and quality assurance

CRM, Automation & Client Systems

  • GoHighLevel platform implementation and customization
  • CRM, pipelines, forms, calendars and email automation
  • Standardized onboarding and client implementation
  • Marketing operations, landing pages and communication workflows
Fix the system — not just the symptom.

When the same problem keeps appearing, I want to understand why it exists, what part of the operating model is producing it, and what structure will keep the organization from solving the same problem again next month.
